Paxton10 administrator and user guide
Paxton10 login, Paxton Connect, Paxton Key and mobile access
Paxton10 is web-based, but the correct URL belongs to the deployed Paxton10 server and configured cloud service. Downloading an app does not create site permissions or a smart credential.

Choose the correct Paxton10 interface
| Task | Interface | Prerequisite |
|---|---|---|
| Configure users, doors, video, dashboards and permissions | Paxton10 browser interface | Authorized server/site login and correct URL |
| Manage supported functions from phone or tablet | Paxton Connect | Configured remote access and operator authorization |
| Use a phone or watch as a credential | Paxton Key | Administrator-issued Smart Credential and compatible Paxton10 version/readers |
| Answer Entry calls remotely | Paxton Entry app | Supported Entry equipment, service and installer-managed site |
Paxton Key setup and troubleshooting
Paxton documents Paxton Key for Paxton10 v3.3 and later, with the latest version needed for one credential across multiple sites. The administrator issues the credential from the user record; the recipient registers it in the app. Current official material describes Touch to Enter, token mode and long-range modes, subject to reader and site configuration.
Invitation or registration error
Confirm the email recipient, Paxton10 version, supported phone and that the registration code has not already been consumed. Request a new credential from the administrator rather than sharing another user’s code.
App works but door denies
Review the user record, access level, schedule, door, credential state and authentication requirement. A registered app can still be correctly denied.
Intermittent mobile unlock
Check Bluetooth, OS permissions, background operation, device compatibility, reader placement and the configured read mode before replacing the controller.
Paxton10 architecture questions
- Which server generation, Paxton10 software release and SSL/TLS certificate are deployed?
- Are remote access and Cloud Services enabled, and who owns the administrative account?
- Which doors use wired controllers, wireless connectors or PaxLock Pro?
- Which cameras, Entry panels, alarm connectors and building-control inputs are included?
- How are backups, certificate renewal, administrator recovery and acceptance evidence handled?
Installation, configuration and ongoing support
We design, install, commission, maintain, expand and repair Paxton10 access, video, Entry and mobile-credential deployments—not merely resell equipment.
