Define overview, recognition, identification, plate, POS/transaction, perimeter or specialty outcome; then select lens, pixels-on-target, low light/WDR, IR/white light, analytics, housing and mount.
Recorder and storage
Size channels, incoming/recording bandwidth, PoE, codecs, resolution/FPS, continuous/event schedule, drive bays/RAID where supported, retention, display and export workload.
Software and users
Select the series-appropriate local, desktop/VMS and mobile workflow; define owners, roles, remote access, events, health, maps, evidence and support boundaries.
