Administrator and credential-user guide
Kisi web dashboard login, mobile app, Apple Wallet and support
Start with the correct official sign-in path, identify whether the issue belongs to an account, credential, phone, reader, controller, door or network, and send it to the team that can actually resolve it.

Which Kisi starting point do you need?
| Goal | Official resource | Who normally owns it |
|---|---|---|
| Sign in to an existing organization | Kisi web sign in | Authorized user and organization owner |
| Install or use the mobile app | Official mobile-use guide | Credential user and access administrator |
| Add a badge to Apple Wallet | Official Apple Pass documentation | Licensed organization and eligible user/device |
| Resolve account or cloud-platform trouble | Kisi product documentation | Kisi or the authorized administrator |
| Repair readers, controllers, locks, power, cabling or network interfaces | 360 Technology Group service | Qualified field and software technicians |
Sign-in and invitation troubleshooting
- Confirm the user has an active membership in the intended Kisi organization. Downloading the app does not create door access.
- Use the organization domain supplied by the administrator. If it is unknown, use Kisi’s recovery path to request the organization sign-in link.
- Self-requested sign-in links expire after 30 minutes according to current Kisi documentation. Request a fresh link instead of forwarding an old one.
- If SSO is enabled, verify assignment to the Kisi enterprise application and test the identity provider. A working corporate password does not prove the user has been provisioned.
- If login works but doors are missing, review groups, permissions, schedules, restrictions and credential state before replacing hardware.
Mobile unlock methods are not interchangeable
Tap in the app
The user opens Kisi and taps the door control. A Kisi reader is not required for this method, but the phone, app, user permission, cloud path and controller must be operational.
Tap to Unlock
The phone communicates at the Reader Pro using NFC and Bluetooth. Kisi documents offline capability for this method, subject to correct provisioning, supported equipment and configuration.
MotionSense
A nearby authorized phone and enabled Bluetooth/location settings allow a hand-wave workflow at a supported reader. Reader settings, phone permissions and placement all affect performance.
For current behavior and device prerequisites, use Kisi’s official mobile credentials comparison.
Apple Wallet badge prerequisites
Kisi’s current documentation requires an active Apple Pass subscription, a Kisi Reader Pro 2.1 with tamper protection enabled, an eligible iPhone running iOS 17 or later, and an up-to-date Kisi iOS app for initial provisioning. The pass alone does not grant access; an administrator must still assign door permissions. Managed Apple IDs are not currently supported.
Before rollout
Inventory Reader Pro hardware revisions, confirm licensing, choose a badge design, document supported phones and watches, and test enrollment with a small pilot group.
Acceptance tests
Issue, use, suspend and revoke a badge; replace the user’s device; test authorized and denied doors; confirm event attribution; and document support ownership before broad deployment.
