DKS administrator and owner guide
DoorKing Cloud Account Manager, software, manuals and support
Identify the exact DKS entry-system model, board generation, connection service and programming method before changing accounts, schedules, device codes, elevators or access points.

Cloud versus desktop programming
1830 Series Cloud Account Manager
Browser-based management for supported 1830 Series entry/access systems. DoorKing lists accounts, permission levels, card/transmitter numbers, hold-open zones, holidays and elevator functions among the available workflows.
Windows Remote Account Manager
DoorKing provides desktop software for supported 1833, 1834, 1835, 1837 and 1838 systems. Confirm board, connection method, PC requirements, database custody and current official package before use.
DoorKing states that DKS Cloud works with 1830-series entry systems but not old 4E boards in 1815/1817 systems, and that supported connections differ from modem-to-modem, RS-232 and manually configured LAN/WAN connections. A takeover survey must identify both hardware and communications.
Prepare a support request
- Record model, serial/board label, revision date range, connection device and service status.
- Export or securely back up the account database and record current programming software.
- Describe the failed workflow: calls, relay, code, card, transmitter, directory, schedule, elevator or remote connection.
- Test power, grounding, phone/VoIP/cellular/IP path, antenna/signal and field wiring before changing software.
- Use the manual for the exact production period and retain before/after acceptance results.
