Mobile answering and managed operations
Aiphone IXG app, AiphoneCloud and remote management
Mobile answering is an operating workflow, not an app-store checkbox. The design must connect stations, gateway, network, tenant identity, notifications, door release, administrator roles and field support.

Three functions that should not be confused
IXG mobile answering
Authorized users receive supported entrance calls, view video and remotely unlock according to the configured IXG mobile workflow.
AiphoneCloud management
Aiphone states that the IXGW-TGW Cloud Gateway enables remote configuration, monitoring and management of supported Aiphone IP intercom systems.
Local station operation
Physical entrance, tenant, guard and answering stations still depend on correct local power, network, call programming and door hardware. Cloud status cannot replace field acceptance.
Deployment checklist
- Confirm the exact IX/IXG stations, gateway, firmware, Support Tool and subscribed services are mutually supported.
- Assign administrative ownership for the AiphoneCloud tenant, MFA, invitations, tenant lifecycle and support contacts.
- Provide documented IP, DNS, time, internet, firewall, PoE and notification prerequisites to the client network team.
- Enroll representative iOS and Android users and test ringing, foreground/background behavior, video, audio and authorized release.
- Test revoked users, lost phones, expired invitations, after-hours routing, WAN outage and recovery.
Common “app not working” causes
Account or enrollment
Wrong email, stale invitation, user not assigned to the intended station/call group, removed tenant, permission mismatch or mobile operating-system notification settings.
Site infrastructure
Gateway offline, DNS/time failure, blocked outbound service, incorrect addressing, insufficient PoE, outdated or mismatched firmware, or a broken call route.
Door release path
The app call may work while the relay, access-control input, power supply, lock, request-to-exit or fire-interface path does not. Test the entire opening—not only the screen button.
Support boundary
Manufacturer account/platform questions and on-site electrical/network faults require different evidence and escalation. We collect both so the issue is routed efficiently.
IXG app and AiphoneCloud setup
