Installation, service, maintenance and support

PDK Cloud Node, Red Controllers, Readers, Locks, Pricing and Installer Guide

A PDK system begins with the Cloud Node and expands through model-specific network, PoE, wireless and multi-door controllers. Select hardware by door count, security, communication, credential and lifecycle requirements rather than enclosure size alone.

We install, configure, service, maintain and support ProdataKey products and systems. Our scope can include survey, engineering, authorized procurement, field installation, software setup, commissioning, training, troubleshooting, repair and lifecycle planning.

PDK hardware and installed-system cost: owner and buyer decisions

Cloud Node and Red controllers

Plan the site head-end, one-, two-, four-, eight-door, gate, pedestal, auxiliary or configurable Red Max architecture by exact model, expansion, power and communication path.

Readers and credentials

Choose credential security and format, mobile/Bluetooth, keypad or vandal-resistant requirements, OSDP where supported, issuance, enrollment and migration from legacy formats.

Wireless locks and peripherals

Validate supported locksets, gateways/modules, range survey, battery/service access, door preparation, offline behavior and the relationship to wired perimeter doors.

Scope the complete system

Planning area What to verify
Installed price Cloud Node, controllers/modules, readers, credentials, locks, power/UPS, enclosures, network, cable/pathway, licenses, labor, training and support.
Capacity Doors, credentials, events, controller continuity, I/O, readers, wireless range, partitions/locations and future expansion reserve.
Opening hardware Lock voltage/current, egress, DPS, REX, transfer hardware, fire interface, surge/grounding and accessibility.
Lifecycle Automatic platform updates, controller firmware/health, backup/ownership records, batteries, inspection, spares, warranty and response plan.

Installation, upgrade and acceptance workflow

  1. Survey the openings, operating workflow, existing hardware, door construction, egress, fire interface, power, pathways and network before selecting products.
  2. Inventory exact platform, version, tenant or license owner, controllers, readers, credentials, firmware, integrations and administrator recovery.
  3. Confirm current official compatibility, licenses and documentation; build a model-specific bill of materials and division-of-responsibility plan.
  4. Install and configure network, power, controllers, readers, locks, sensors, roles, schedules, holidays, alerts, credentials and integrations.
  5. Test authorized, denied, forced, held, request-to-exit, fire-release, communication-loss, power-loss and recovery behavior at each affected opening.
  6. Deliver as-builts, device/version records, account and license ownership, administrator training, acceptance results and a preventive-maintenance plan.
