Owner and developer budget guide
ButterflyMX pricing, video intercom, access control and integrations
Budget the complete property workflow: platform, intercoms, readers/keypads/controllers, doors and gates, network/power, integrations, installation, onboarding, testing and long-term service.

What ButterflyMX publishes and what a project adds
As reviewed July 19, 2026, ButterflyMX’s official cost page showed promotional hardware figures for surface and recessed 8-inch and 12-inch video intercoms, described a two-year hardware warranty, and explained annual software pricing per apartment unit. It also states that the resident/tenant mobile app is free to use. A property proposal still has to include the site-specific work below.
Manufacturer scope
Selected intercom/access products, platform features, warranty terms, applicable annual software, onboarding and the integrations included in the quoted configuration.
Installed-system scope
Survey, drawings, permits where required, pathway/cable, internet/network, power, controller enclosure, lock/strike or gate interface, fire/egress coordination, labor, commissioning, training and service.

Integration discovery before pricing
ButterflyMX lists property-management, smart-lock, resident-experience, video and other integrations. Official examples include Yardi, RealPage, Entrata and AppFolio for resident lifecycle workflows; SALTO KS, dormakaba, Yale and other lock paths; Apple Wallet; and video/event integrations. Confirm the exact supported product, feature, edition and commercial terms before promising automation.
- Define authoritative resident/tenant data and move-in/move-out timing.
- Map every entrance, credential, visitor, delivery, elevator and vehicle workflow.
- Identify door/gate hardware, network, power, fire release and accessibility dependencies.
- Confirm integration ownership, API/account permissions, failure behavior and manual fallback.
- Test onboarding, denied/revoked access, video calls, passes, outages, recovery and audit evidence.
ButterflyMX dealer, installer and lifecycle service
We supply, install, configure, integrate, train, maintain and repair ButterflyMX systems. The proposal separates manufacturer hardware/software from construction, door, network and service costs so owners can compare alternatives fairly.
