Brivo pricing, editions and installed cost per door
Compare proposals on the same technical and operational scope instead of relying on a single subscription figure that excludes the door, infrastructure and service work.

A practical Brivo cost model
Installed project cost = platform onboarding + panels/controllers + readers/credentials + locking and egress hardware + power/network/pathways + installation/configuration + testing/training + permits/taxes
Recurring operating cost = selected edition/licenses + optional credentials or capability packs + video/storage/retention + integration entitlements + agreed support or maintenance
Dividing the total by the number of doors can help compare concepts, but it should not hide shared infrastructure or expensive opening types. One straightforward interior door and one exterior pair with electrified panic hardware are not equivalent units of work.
Eight conditions that change the quote
- Opening condition: door/frame material, handing, fire rating, egress and existing electrified hardware.
- Door density: whether openings can share a multi-door enclosure or need distributed/single-door control.
- Reuse: documented compatibility and condition of readers, cable, locks, power and panels.
- Credential mix: cards, fobs, Brivo Mobile Pass, Wallet credentials, PINs or supported third-party credentials.
- Infrastructure: pathway, cable distance, network, IP addressing, PoE, electrical circuits and backup power.
- Software scope: edition, identities, integrations, video association, visitor workflows and retention.
- Site logistics: occupied work, lifts, ceiling access, escorts, union rules, travel, phasing and working hours.
- Acceptance and support: device testing, failure scenarios, documentation, training, warranty and ongoing maintenance.
What a transparent proposal should show
- Named Brivo edition and every recurring license or optional capability.
- Door-by-door hardware schedule with explicit reuse and exclusion assumptions.
- Controller, reader, credential, lock, request-to-exit, contact, power and battery responsibilities.
- Cabling, pathway, firestopping, network and electrical boundaries.
- Configuration, migration, integration, testing, training and documentation deliverables.
- Permit, tax, freight, prevailing-wage, after-hours or other commercial assumptions.
- Warranty, manufacturer support and installer service responsibilities.
Brivo also publishes cost and planning tools. Treat calculators as early planning aids, not replacements for a field survey.

Official Brivo software, firmware and support
Use these manufacturer-owned portals for current downloads, release notes, manuals, advisories and technical resources. 360 Technology Group links to official sources and does not copy or host firmware files.
Update carefully: confirm the exact model, region, hardware revision, installed version, prerequisites, required intermediate releases, support entitlement, integrations, backup, maintenance window, rollback limitations and post-update tests. The wrong package or sequence can interrupt service or prevent a downgrade.
Some portals require a customer, dealer, certified-technician or active-support login. Cloud-managed products may update automatically and may not offer a public firmware file.
